Marked For a Purpose

Meet Dr. Donna Thomas- Moses Goggans

Dr. Donna Thomas-Moses Goggans grew up in Walnut Grove, Mississippi, where she was an only child with a big dream, to become a dentist. That dream and more came true, she became a periodontist. She worked diligently to bring oral health to all who trusted in her. She also served her profession as a leader across Georgia (serving as President of the Georgia Dental Association and of the Georgia Society of Periodontists) and the nation (serving the ADA in many leadership roles over 25 years).

But when the white coat comes off, Donna trades her dental tools for muddy boots and heads home to the farm she shares with her husband, Greg. There, surrounded by their cows, goats, donkeys, horses, a mule, cats, guardian dogs and Winnie (a standard poodle who works with Donna as a dental therapy dog), she finds a quieter kind of wisdom.

Donna has spent her life in church, as church organist for many years, in the choir and leading Sunday morning and Wednesday night classes. She and Greg presently lead a Connections Class at North Point Baptist Church in Carrollton, GA. Donna and Greg were married on a mission field in the Dominican Republic. They dedicate their lives to serving Christ, who they credit for all their blessings in life.
